(OTW Participants Only)
This summer, our OTW youth and young adults are hitting the road for a Pacific Northwest service trip — traveling by van up through Oregon, Washington, and into Canada. Along the way, the group will roll up their sleeves at Wildwood Farm Sanctuary in Newberg, Oregon, caring for rescued animals, and volunteer at Food Lifeline, a regional food bank serving the greater Seattle area. From there, the journey continues north by ferry to Vancouver Island, where the group will explore a few local towns and look into volunteer opportunities before heading home.
Trips like this are made possible by our community — garage sales, our Fairfax Festival booth, and the generous support of funders like the Bothin Foundation, who helped us purchase "Otto," the van that will get our group safely from stop to stop. The group is set to return home July 1st, just in time to prepare for our next big adventure: Tanzania, departing July 5th.
NOTE: These trips are made possible through fundraising events and volunteer activities OTW participants help coordinate throughout the year and the participants’ personal contributions.
