Naloxone/Narcan®

Naloxone (Narcan®) nasal spray is a lifesaving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose.

Signs of an overdose:

  • Unresponsive

  • Shallow or no breathing

  • Slow heart rate

  • Clammy skin

  • Tiny pupils

  • Blue lips/fingertips

If you suspect an overdose:

  • CALL 911

  • Immediately use Naloxone if available

  • Roll them on their side if unconscious

  • Conduct rescue breaths every 5 seconds if needed 

  • Stay with them until help arrives
